At Alba Legal, we specialise in bringing the law into your corner. We are a small firm dedicated to understanding what results you want and to helping you understand what actions we can take on your behalf. We will work with you every step of the way and will not unnecessarily represent you if it's a matter we can provide you with the know how to progress yourself. We will assist you through the process to make sure that you understand the choices you are making and that you feel empowered to make them.

Our Team

Fiona Ellis, Legal Practice Director

Fiona graduated with a LLB (Hons) from Charles Darwin University, and was admitted as a Lawyer to the Supreme Court of Western Australia after completing a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice with Business Certification. She further completed the Legal Practice Management Course with the College of Law enabling her to practice as the Principal of Alba Legal Pty Ltd, of which she is the company director.

Formerly employed by one of Bunbury's local law firms with experience at a rural private practice in Katanning and also with Aboriginal Legal Service of WA, Bunbury she classes herself as a Generalist Lawyer who practices is several areas of Law rather than a Specialist Lawyer that is expert in complex matters in one area of Law. This is reflected in her lower charge out rate and fixed pricing for smaller matters.

Having worked as a nurse for over 20years on deciding to pursue further studies with a Masters in Nurse Practitioner, she found her self drawn to legal studies and decided to make the career change into the legal profession. She completed her full time law degree whilst working parttime as a Radiology Nurse to support her family being the sole carer to 3 children. She therefore understands how difficult it can be to make ends meet in todays society and the importance of providing cost effective solutions to legal problems.

Her background and highly competitive spirit lends her to be results focused and goal orientated rather than financially motivated. This philosophy allows her to provide results driven, high quality, low cost legal services to the local area.
